Aisha Hartford is serving the Urbana Youth Program as the Secretary and Apparel Coordinator. She has been an active part of the youth sports program as a Team Mom for football, baseball, lacrosse and Poms since relocating to Maryland six years ago.
Aisha loves being a Team-Momager because she gets to help & have fund with the kids. Being a parent, like many others juggling busy lives, work, schedules and our kids sports, she understands the importance of staying organized and communicating information that is fundamental and timely. She also believes being supportive for the coaching staff is key. “Coaches should be focused on our youth, teaching and instilling...not the paperwork and the administrative stuff that is just as important to the team. Scheduling, planning fun team bonding events, bringing ice and first aid kits, leave that up to me,” is her mindset.
In addition to serving the youth sports programs, she also sits as a member of the UHS Booster as the Apparel Coordinator and has volunteered at CES in the Garden Club until being redistricted to SUES. Although Aisha loves her quiet time at home with her family, she loves being active, getting to know the families and helping the community.
In her professional career, Aisha is a Risk Control Consultant and is also proud entrepreneur with her husband, Bobby of Faithful By Design and Melanin Chocolate Tees, offering custom and personalized apparel for families, individuals, sports teams, schools and many more.
Aisha received her Masters and Undergraduate degree in Management & Marketing both from Nazareth College of Rochester, which she believes has been useful in maintaining organization as a Team Mom-ager.
Aisha resides in the Villages with her husband, Bobby, children, CeCe, Jaxson (JV) and Kingston.
When she is not volunteering you find Aisha spending time with her family, cooking or working on her business with her husband.
