Meet Your Football Commissioner:

Coach Jason "Jay" Cross has coached youth football for the past eighteen years in Montgomery and Frederick counties. He has spent the last ten of those years in the Urbana youth football program as a Head Coach or Assistant Coach. As head coach with the Urbana program, he has had a great deal of success on and off the field with players, including leading the Urbana MVYFL Varsity Superbowl Champions to an undefeated 12-0 season in 2022.

His coaching philosophy is centered on teaching the fundamentals of football and putting the players and team in the best position to be successful. In the teaching fundamentals and relating the game of football to everyday life skills such as: Discipline, Dedication, Determination, Teamwork, Accountability, and Responsibility. He believes and has the passion to see that every player must learn a little more than just football by the end of the season.
